[:tr]Üniversite, araştırma kadrosunun atanmasındaki işlemleri, 2547 sayılı Yükseköğretim Kanunu çerçevesinde gerçekleştirmektedir. Araştırma kadrosunun atama ve yükseltme sürecindeki yetkinliği, bir önceki yönergeye göre daha yüksek standartlara sahip 01.01.2021 tarihi itibariyle yürürlüğe giren Öğretim Üyeliğine Yükseltilme ve Atanma Yönergesine göre belirlenmektedir. Bu yeni yönerge ile Üniversitenin Ar-Ge hedefleri doğrultusunda nitelikli yayın sayısının artırılması amaçlanmış ve her kademe öğretim üyeliği için gerekli olan yayın sayıları artırılmıştır.
Üniversitenin Ar-Ge faaliyetlerini yürüten akademik kadronun ve araştırmacıların yetkinliğini geliştirmesine imkan sağlayan laboratuvarlar bulunmaktadır. Araştırmacılara, aşağıda listesi bulunan laboratuvarlar aracılığıyla yetkinliklerini geliştirme imkanı sunulmaktadır. Üniversitenin laboratuvar altyapısının kullanımı ve takip edilmesini sağlayan labsis.aku.edu.tr adresinden ulaşılabilen bir otomasyon sistemi mevcuttur.
Ar-Ge faaliyetlerinin somut çıktılarını ölçmeye yönelik en önemli süreçlerinden birisi patentlerdir. Fikri Mülkiyet Hakları Kurulu Yönergesine göre çalışan kurul, fikri mülkiyet hakları kapsamında hem Üniversitenin hem de araştırmacıların haklarını korumada koordinasyondan sorumlu en üst kuruldur. Kurul, bu sorumluluk doğrultusunda araştırmacı, TTO, BAPK Birimi ve Yönetim Kurulunun yükümlülüklerini düzenlemektedir. Bu düzenlemeler doğrultusunda BAPK Birimi, patent başvurularının finansmanına katkı sağlamak amacıyla ekte detayları bulunan fikri ve sınai mülkiyet hakları destek projesi ilanına çıkmıştır. 2022 yılında iki yeni tescil başvurusu ve üç buluş tescili yapılmıştır.

[:en]The university carries out the procedures for the appointment of research staff within the framework of the Higher Education Law No. 2547. The competence of the research staff in the appointment and promotion process is determined according to the Directive on Promotion and Appointment to Faculty Membership, which came into force as of 01.01.2021, which has higher standards than the previous directive. With this new directive, it is aimed to increase the number of qualified publications in line with the R&D targets of the University, and the number of publications required for faculty members at all levels has been increased.
There are laboratories that enable the university’s academic staff and researchers who carry out R&D activities to improve their competence. Researchers are offered the opportunity to improve their competencies through the laboratories listed below. There is an automation system available at labsis.aku.edu.tr that allows the use and monitoring of the university’s laboratory infrastructure.
One of the most important processes for measuring the concrete outputs of R&D activities is patents. Working in accordance with the Intellectual Property Rights Board Directive, the board is the highest board responsible for coordination in protecting the rights of both the University and researchers within the scope of intellectual property rights. In line with this responsibility, the Board regulates the obligations of the researcher, TTO, BAPK Unit and the Board of Directors. In line with these regulations, the BAPK Unit has announced an intellectual and industrial property rights support project, the details of which are attached, in order to contribute to the financing of patent applications. Two new registration applications and three invention registrations were made in 2022.
