Our university has secured the 58th position in the Webometrics Turkey national ranking, as announced every January and July. This is a two-position improvement compared to the rankings in January 2023 and July 2023. Furthermore, it continues its upward trajectory in the international rankings, as last disclosed in January 2024.
Webometric (Ranking of World Universities on the Web) is an organization that compares universities according to their level of keeping up with the developments in web technologies and using them.
Webometric ranks universities according to their web performance according to four criteria (Presence, Visibility, Transparency, and Excellence) with different weights.
Webometric ranking is made by the research group “Cybermetrics Lab” operating under the Madrid-based Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC). The ranking, which has been updated every January and July since 2004, today evaluates more than 12000 universities worldwide.
