Since the July 2022 ranking, our university has consistently risen in the Webometrics World Ranking, which is announced every January and July. In the most recent ranking (July 2024), it climbed 74 places.
Webometric (Ranking of World Universities on the Web) is an organization that compares universities according to their level of keeping up with the developments in web technologies and using them.
Webometric ranks universities based on their web performance, using four different weights for each criterion (Presence, Visibility, Transparency, and Excellence).
Webometric ranking is made by the research group “Cybermetrics Lab” operating under the Madrid-based Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC). The ranking, which has been updated every January and July since 2004, today evaluates more than 12000 universities worldwide.
