The Adım Universities Union Quality Coordination Meeting was held on October 17-18, 2024, hosted by Pamukkale University, with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali AVAN, Quality Coordinator, representing Afyon Kocatepe University.
During the meeting, topics such as the structuring of quality commissions, coordination offices, and committees, criteria for personnel performance evaluation, feedback methods, and graduate tracking processes, which are directly related to quality assurance, were discussed. Additionally, evaluations of the KİDR Guide were conducted, and the importance of extending the trainer training certificate to all academic staff was emphasized.
Peer review practices were planned to support institutional and program accreditation processes among Adım Universities. Furthermore, mechanisms to foster collaboration among Research Project (BAP) units to enhance R&D and innovation capabilities and proposals for Joint Participatory Research Projects (OKAP) were addressed.
Participants reached a consensus on improving quality processes and sharing experiences among universities, emphasizing the importance of increasing collaborative efforts. The meeting was significant for fostering cooperation and innovative approaches.
