In order to enhance the effectiveness of the quality assurance system and to strengthen the institutional internal quality assurance processes at our university, a series of informative meetings were held between June 16–20, organized by the Quality Coordination Office under the chairmanship of Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Şuayıp Özdemir, with the participation of quality coordinators and program quality ambassadors from all academic units. The meetings were conducted in seven sessions throughout the week.

During the meetings, particular emphasis was placed on the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) Cycle, especially on the stages of “taking action” and “making improvements.” Feedback was received regarding institutional goals, areas for improvement, monitoring activities, and current practices. In addition, the experiences and challenges encountered by unit quality coordinators and program/department quality ambassadors in relation to quality processes were noted to be discussed further in the University Quality Commission.

Furthermore, participants were informed about the functioning and use of the KİDR module, which is integrated into our university’s Information Management System (BYS) and is scheduled for implementation in the near future.
